I've been listening to the 40-years-old re-runs of the brilliant Laser 558 over the past month or so. And this song came on today. I honestly don't know how I'd forgotten it. It's absolutely stunning. The build up, Sharkey's vocals, the synths.......basically the sheer beauty. How the hell did this track stop at #26 on its life in the charts????

Another forgotten (lost) gem. What an amount of energy put into one song, unbelievable. I was there when it came out and it is pure classic. I like brass and a driving bassline, and listen to the guitar in the background. Why do they not do something like this today anymore?????????? Too much computer?????????
